But considering Bruce spent years honing his skills and training physically and mentally to be at peak condition before starting his career, we can only suppose that either Thomas didn’t spent as much time training, or he did but thus started his career even later. Which means that, at least physically, he wasn’t in his prime, and not comparable to Bruce. In both incarnations, Thomas is much more brutal than Bruce and has no morals, killing his enemies at the first opportunity. This brutal side can compensate for his lesser skills and intellect, however that doesn’t mean he is more efficient as Batman.
